Join a Habits Training Cohort!

Are you interested in getting started on your journey with DMM? The first step is participating in the Habits of a Replicating Disciple.

In this training we explore the main motivation behind making disciples and the six habits that every disciple maker has in their own life.

Heart of God

We believe the main mission of Jesus was to seek and save the lost. We desire to align with this mission. We are asking God to give us His Heart for lost people. As we fall in love with the problem of lost humanity, it compels us to find effective ways to further this mission.

Theme verse: Luke 19:10

Prayer

We believe a main activity of Jesus was time in prayer. We desire to align with the activity of prayer as well.

DMM prayer is focused, contending, fervent, waiting, and listening. It’s a different way to pray than most of us have experienced or been taught.

Engage

We believe Jesus modeled for us a focus of spending time with people who were far from God. We desire to align with this focus. Our energy is not so much focused on inviting people to come to Church, but taking the message of Jesus to those that are far from God.

Find

Finding a person whose heart is receptive to the message of hope and the good news of Jesus is key. We call this a person of peace. They discover the good news of Jesus and invite people they know to also hear and discover the good news of Jesus.

Discover

We invite interested people into a process called Discovery Bible Study. This process helps people view the Bible not simply for gaining knowledge, but for gaining practical points of application. We use simple questions to help them discover what the passage means and what it reveals to them personally to apply and obey.

Gather/Replicate

When Discovery Bible Studies begin to grow and mature, often times a Home Church will develop. The Bible describes the concept of “house to house” as a legitimate way for believers to grow, mature, and participate in ministry together. We believe that every Assembly has the DNA to replicate, meaning it has the ability to multiply.

  • We will send you a Zoom link to the Training Cohort once you register for the session. Make sure your Zoom app is updated and ready to be used.

  • We ask you attend every session and participate for your and the Cohort benefit. If you know you’re not able to attend please register for another Cohort in the future. (Exceptions are handled case by case.)

    We will record the sessions and send them out post meeting to each Training participant.

  • We condense the last two Habits since for most of us in NOCO are not in situation where we have multiplying ecclesia.

  • Yes! We recommend every disciple maker to retake the Training several times and even retake for staying sharp and continuing to learn.

  • We are going through the training to build habits which do take time to build. We recommend you continue practicing the habits with others in the Cohort, retake the training in a few months, learn as you go, and maybe consider receiving DMM Coaching.
