Prayer Resources

Disciple Making Movements are Prayer Movements

We have curated prayer resources to help us catalyze Disciple Making Movements in Northern Colorado. Many of these resources are links to outside sources or have been created here in Timnath. All of the resources are tested both internationally and here in Northern Colorado. We will add to this page as we see new prayer initiatives become practice.

  • Group of four people standing outside near the entrance of a building, listening to a man in a black jacket reading from a yellow booklet.

    Prayer Walking

Prayer walking engages us in our natural networks, partnering with God to open hearts. It helps us see His work and prompts conversations about His blessings and healing for local people and issues.

  • Four women standing outdoors on a sidewalk on a cloudy day, engaged in conversation and preparing to prayer walk.

    Half Night of Prayer

Half Nights of Prayer (HNP) are common in Disciple Making Movements worldwide, focusing on prayer for Kingdom expansion. Hosting an HNP offers opportunities to train people in praying for their networks and communities, while increasing individuals' capacity to love and engage in disciple-making.

  • A woman with tied-up hair wearing a black jacket and jeans talking to a young boy with glasses, a baseball cap, and a brown hoodie. Two other children, a girl in a purple jacket sitting on a stone bench and a person partially visible behind the woman, are also in the scene near a modern building with large windows and landscaped bushes.

    10:02 Prayer

Disciple makers globally are taking Jesus' command in Luke 10:2 and Matthew 9:38 to heart. They earnestly ask God to send forth laborers into the harvest. Whether seasoned or just forming a team, praying at 10:02 is a simple, powerful habit to adopt.
