Episode 51 is here and today we're discussing how Vision and Mission are embedded in Movement. All ministry leaders wrestle with vision statements and we're no different. This episode unpacks how DMM provides a clear vision and mission for any leader and follower of Jesus.  

In this episode we share a personal story of how we're learning to coach for dependence on the Spirit instead of making disciples dependent on our coaching. In DMM NOCO we offer awareness, training, opportunities for modeling and practicing DMM, resources, and on going coaching. The coaching we're talking about is a different kind of coaching.

Today we talk about the concept of pushing the gospel away from us to increase dependence on the Holy Spirit. We share a personal salvation story that recently happened and how this new life in Christ is causing us to relearn new ways to disciple. 

In this episode we share a lesson we are learning from a recent DMM Habits Training class looking at the habit of Discovery. The class was looking at John 3:16-21 together and verses 17 says...Jesus didn't come into the world to condemn the world...

Many of us believe God wants to seek and save the lost, but what does that belief do? As Jeff says in this episode...It’s not what you believe. It’s what you live out. It’s what we apply. Today we talk about small steps of obedience lead to larger and more sustained walking with the Lord. Learning to follow the Master and his leading through the Holy Spirit is a mark of a disciple maker. Learning to follow Jesus in small steps of obedience helps train us for the sustained living wherever and whenever He wants to send us.

We are headed back to Chicago in a week and want to preview a mini series we are calling: Movement Leaders. We intend to bring your downloads from the New Generations 2025 Chicagoland Disciple Making Movement Summit. We will be interviewing Global and North American Movement leaders and bringing you fresh downloads from this important conference. One year ago a room full of North American DMM Practitioners (about 125 people) prayed together to see movement happen in our context. That group of people represented many of the regions and states of the US, Canada, and Mexico. What will happen this year in Chicago? 

Relationships are key in all of our lives, and we all need support and resourcing as we practice DMM in our contexts. We have found that relationships might be the best resource for movement in North America. This episode focuses on some of the key relationships we have discovered along with other resources to help us practice being disciple makers.
