Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We end 2025 with a DMM Download focused on church being a system or ecosystem. Systems are built and ordered while ecosystems are organic, messy, flexible. They are more like a garden than a machine. Church in America seems to build church system rather than nurturing God’s church ecosystem.

Merry Christmas everyone! We are one week away from celebrating Christmas in Northern Colorado, and we landed today's episode on an unlikely biblical story- the story of Jonah. The assignment given to Jonah was arise and go, but Jonah went in the opposite direction of God's love for the people of Nineveh. Jonah basically said no. I have heard it said that apathy is the opposite of love…Jonah said no to God. Do we?

Delivery systems assessment offers new ideas for new times. We are amazed at the need for a paradigm shift in how we think about and act as the church. In this episode we talk about the need to evaluate and assess the delivery system of the church. How is our delivery system working in the church of North America?

Many of us drive to our churches on Sunday mornings passing the people along the way without paying much attention to the needs of the people around us. Here in Timnath we drive a round about on a street skipping exit 1 and 2 to get to the church building, but DMM has given Jeff a new way to see the people around him as he travels to the church building.

We take a quick look at John 13 where Jesus tells his disciples that people will know they are his disciples by how we love one another. The phrase, they will know us by our love, is taken from this bible verse and is a good point of discussion for today's download.

DMM is a gift for North America, for Northern Colorado, for the Church but is is costly. God give us your heart for the lost we pray. The gift of vision, the gift of God’s heart, the gift of not a new strategy but a life more aligned and more closely tied to our Heavenly Father. DMM is a gift.

Episode 51 is here and today we're discussing how Vision and Mission are embedded in Movement. All ministry leaders wrestle with vision statements and we're no different. This episode unpacks how DMM provides a clear vision and mission for any leader and follower of Jesus.  

In this episode we share a personal story of how we're learning to coach for dependence on the Spirit instead of making disciples dependent on our coaching. In DMM NOCO we offer awareness, training, opportunities for modeling and practicing DMM, resources, and on going coaching. The coaching we're talking about is a different kind of coaching.

Today we talk about the concept of pushing the gospel away from us to increase dependence on the Holy Spirit. We share a personal salvation story that recently happened and how this new life in Christ is causing us to relearn new ways to disciple. 

In this episode we share a lesson we are learning from a recent DMM Habits Training class looking at the habit of Discovery. The class was looking at John 3:16-21 together and verses 17 says...Jesus didn't come into the world to condemn the world...

Many of us believe God wants to seek and save the lost, but what does that belief do? As Jeff says in this episode...It’s not what you believe. It’s what you live out. It’s what we apply. Today we talk about small steps of obedience lead to larger and more sustained walking with the Lord. Learning to follow the Master and his leading through the Holy Spirit is a mark of a disciple maker. Learning to follow Jesus in small steps of obedience helps train us for the sustained living wherever and whenever He wants to send us. 

This episode focuses the conversation on God giving a vision for the work here in Northern Colorado. That vision involves us "drawing a circle around lostness in our region". That vision fuels a burden to see lost people found. The burden moves to urgency…

One year ago a room full of North American DMM Practitioners (about 125 people) prayed together to see movement happen in our context. That group of people represented many of the regions and states of the US, Canada, and Mexico. What will happen this year in Chicago?
