We continue our Catalyst Conversation with Chris Galanos and hear him speak to the church in North America. What do we do while we wait for God to pour out his Spirit here? How do we prepare? How can we be ready for the harvest? 

God what do you want our vision to be? Chris and the church in Lubbock prayed this prayer when they had seen 10,000 new followers of Jesus in their city. They had seen the initial vision happen…10,000 new followers of Jesus in 8 years! They prayed again asking God for his vision for them. In this episode Chris shares how the Lord gave them a vision for their entire region, and what that started to mean for their church.

In part 1 of this mini series, Kelley shared how Jesus taught us to go to the home, but we tend to go to the building. In this episode we hear from Kelley on how the Holy Spirit directs our steps to learn from Jesus. God is doing a new thing in Northern Colorado, and we see in the scriptures Jesus’ way of teaching us how to live into a new way to worship. Jesus’ entire earthly ministry was a ministry of vulnerability. We must be vulnerable in order to minister like Jesus taught, modeled, and expects.

The questions we ask are important…Sometimes I hear the question, "Will DMM work in North America?".  This question is a bit of a bad question. The better question is, what does Jesus command? What is it going to take? In a busy culture such as ours in Northern Colorado- The Great Commission reveals Jesus’ kind heart. He is not telling us to do more. He is telling us to be intentional with what we do. We all have the same amount of time. Will we be captured by God’s heart and his kindness and see we can be intentional with the time we are given.

Jesus died, and was raised from the dead, hung out with his disciples before he ascended and the last thing he said to them was to carry on the mission. They were to be a part of that co mission and it was a command to go and make disciples of all nations. Here’s the point…are we doing that?

DMM is a gift for North America, for Northern Colorado, for the Church but is is costly. God give us your heart for the lost we pray. The gift of vision, the gift of God’s heart, the gift of not a new strategy but a life more aligned and more closely tied to our Heavenly Father. DMM is a gift.
